Dokie

Dokie is a sweet 3-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix who has overcome a challenging past. He was found as a street dog and was initially distrustful and standoffish due to past abuse. With time and patience, Dokie has begun to trust again and his true affectionate and playful nature is shining through. He loves his walks and his toys, and his crate is his safe space where he feels secure. He does well with other dogs or can be a wonderful only dog. Dokie does tend to prefer women.

Ideal Home

Dokie would thrive in a quiet home where he can continue to build his confidence and learn to trust. He does need a home without children, as they can be frightening for him.

Ongoing Health

Dokie is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Dokie is house-trained and enjoys his crate as a safe space. He is still learning to trust and would benefit from a patient and understanding adopter.
