Francis

Hi friends, my name is Francis! I’m a 1-1/2 year old Belgian Malinois mix, weighing in at 45lbs. I was rescued over a year ago after being found very sick and abandoned in a house. My foster moms have the full story, but it's a miracle I not only survived a neurological bacteria, but that I can walk and run again! While I move a little differently than other dogs – some say I run like a big rabbit! – I can still happily chase and play with my canine friends.

Ideal Home

Francis would do best in a home that can accommodate his unique mobility. He needs a family that understands his past and can provide a patient and loving environment.

Ongoing Health

Francis is a survivor! He was treated for a neurological bacteria, and while he has recovered significantly, his way of walking and running is unique.

Training & Support

Francis is house-trained and knows basic commands. His foster moms can share more details about his rehabilitation and how to best support him.
