McGinger is a sweet, curious, and courageous 6-week-old Chiweenie mix who weighs just 4 pounds. She has a beautiful coat of white, brown, and black markings, and at first glance, she might remind you of a little beagle! We estimate she'll grow to be a happy adult dog between 16 and 20 pounds. McGinger is one of six energetic puppies, and while she enjoys playtime, she's also a fan of a good nap. She's very friendly and affectionate, especially with her foster mom, and she patiently waits for her turn for cuddles. McGinger is dreaming of a cozy bed, lots of belly rubs, backyard adventures, and a loving forever family to share her life with.

Ongoing Health
Puppies are generally healthy. McGinger will be microchipped and have age-appropriate vaccinations before transport. We do not spay or neuter our puppies until they are about 6 months old. We offer adopters a $100 rebate once this procedure is completed.
Training & Support
McGinger will need a little time to adjust and settle into her new home. She'll benefit from a dog-loving person who understands she has so much love to offer.

Transportation
McGinger is currently being fostered near Houston, TX, but can be transported to your area. Our rescue is Houston-based, and transport typically occurs once a month to locations in your area. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog's progress in real-time, with updates on exact locations and estimated arrival times. Please note that traffic and weather can affect travel times, but drivers will keep you informed of any delays or early arrivals. Dogs on transport stop for breaks and are crated for safety.
