Johnny may take a little time to warm up, but once he lets you into his world, you're in for a lifetime of loyalty and devotion. He's silly, makes you feel like the most important person, and loves people and food with his whole being. Johnny is an enthusiastic helper and will gladly follow you around, especially to the kitchen where he hopes for a tasty morsel. His expansive palate even includes fruits and veggies – he's a true foodie!
Johnny has blossomed in his foster home, overcoming initial challenges with impulse control and mouthiness. He's now a distinguished gentleman who is crate trained, leash-friendly, and enjoys car rides. He prefers a calm home environment and would be thrilled with treasures from your farmers market trips. Johnny is also good with other dogs, especially with slow, thoughtful introductions. He thrives when given space to feel safe and build trust, and once he knows you're his person, his love is endless.

Ongoing Health
Johnny is fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is currently on Prozac, which is inexpensive and helps him during transitions, and Apoquel to manage Texas allergens.
Training & Support
Johnny has shown incredible growth and improved impulse control. While he previously had some mouthy behaviors, he's now a gentleman. Patience and consistency will continue to help him thrive.

- Johnny's adoption fee is $250, due after the foster-to-adopt period.

Johnny is located in Texas. We offer to-your-door transportation for families located outside of Texas.
