Hi there! My name is Riggs, and I am a pint-sized brave boy looking for my forever home. I may only weigh 6 pounds, but I have a massive heart and a lot of love to give. I had a bit of a rough start; my fur was so badly matted that I had to get a full shave, leaving me with some uncomfortable razor burn. Now that I have a fresh cut, I'm already feeling more confident, and my sweet personality is really starting to shine! I am fantastic with new people; I transitioned from the vet techs right into my foster mom's arms without a second thought. Because I am so tiny, I could likely live with kids, as long as they are gentle and careful with me. I walk like an absolute dream; I am incredibly light and easy on the leash. I am doing great in my crate. I might whine for just a quick minute when I first go in, but I settle down very fast, especially since my foster mom is helping me build positive associations with treats! I am a huge fan of maximum comfort. If there is a soft, fluffy blanket or a plush bed around, you can bet I will be curled up right in the middle of it. I am still settling in and showing more of my wonderful self every day. If you are looking for a gentle, resilient little companion to cuddle with on a fluffy blanket, I might just be your perfect match!

I had a full shave due to severely matted fur, which resulted in razor burn. I am now recovering and feeling much better.
Training & Support
I am doing great in my crate and settle down quickly, especially with positive reinforcement like treats. I walk beautifully on the leash.
