Meet Thomas, a 3-year-old Pittie/retriever mix with a heart as big as his personality! Thomas is a true goofball, a people-focused dog who showers his loved ones with affection. He's also an excellent fetch player and friendly with kids, making him a wonderful family companion. He's even a great office buddy, happy to lounge nearby while you work. With his love for cuddling and his gentle nature, Thomas is ready to be your devoted lap dog. He's around 68 pounds and truly has the best of both worlds, combining the playful retriever spirit with the loving Pittie charm.
Ideal Home
Thomas would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can play and zoom around. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love to have a canine sibling to play with. However, he should be in a feline-free household.
Ongoing Health
Thomas is current on all his vaccinations and has been treated for fleas and parasites. He will receive a heartworm preventative injection before transport.
Training & Support
Thomas is a smart and treat-motivated boy who already knows several commands like "sit," "down," "leave it," and "fetch." He's also crate-trained and gentle when taking treats. He walks beautifully on a leash with a gentle lead, which will be included with his adoption.

Transportation
Thomas is located in Texas and can be transported to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. Transport is handled with USDA licensed vehicles and 24/7 care. An additional $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
