Delta Dawn

Meet Delta Dawn! This sweet 40lb Cattle Dog mix, estimated to be born around May 6, 2022, has a heart of gold and a story of resilience. Delta Dawn was rescued when she was pregnant and found herself on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. Thankfully, we stepped in and brought her to safety. She stayed with a loving foster family where she gave birth to 11 puppies. Sadly, they all succumbed to puppy fading syndrome, a heartbreaking loss that touched everyone's hearts.

Delta Dawn has the softest fur and a naturally sweet disposition that makes you instantly want to shower her with affection. Cuddling is one of her favorite pastimes, and she even enjoys trips to Tractor Supply, especially if a bath is involved – she doesn't mind getting clean! She loves to explore the aisles, sniffing all the wonderful scents.

Delta Dawn is looking for a person who will give her all the belly rubs and show her the loving, cherished life she truly deserves.

Ongoing Health

Delta Dawn is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

We are currently working on leash training with Delta Dawn. She's full of energy and eager to explore, sometimes a bit faster than her foster mom can walk! However, she is very trainable and eager to please her humans. She's recently learned how to play fetch and absolutely loves balls, though we're still working on her returning them. She is kennel and potty trained.
