Roxy is a gorgeous 48 lb girl that is as sweet as they come. We think she is mixed with part giraffe with how long her legs are! She could be a little gazelle; she is just as adorable as one. She is approximately 2 years old and was found in January of 2026 in a cemetery with about 12+ other dogs. She was fending for herself, finding food, water and shelter where and when she could. She is a big cuddler, she just loves to next to her human and snuggling up wherever she can. She enjoys her toys and to chase the pigs on the farm around, but she is gentle with them! Roxy wants to be next to her human more often than not. She is loyal to the bone.
Ideal Home
Roxy would do best in a home that is around medium active. A home with other dogs that she can play with and tire themselves out would be ideal. Someone that can provide regular play time, exercise and training for this almost perfect little girl!
Ongoing Health
Roxy is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations and dewormer. She is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Roxy tested heartworm positive, but she has received the 30-day course of antibiotics and will need to stay on heartworm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested then. She will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Roxy is crate trained but prefers not to be crated. She has no issues when left alone and is quiet. She is great with well-behaved children. Roxy is a bit of an escape artist and loves to explore, but she comes back immediately when called.
