Meet Denim!
Denim is an eight-year-old Boxer/German Shepherd mix who is a warm ray of sunshine. She has spent years perfecting the art of companionship and is ready to share her heart with a new loving family. If cuddling were an Olympic sport, Denim would bring home the gold medal! Her favorite place in the world is right beside her favorite people, whether they are watching television, working from home, or simply relaxing after a long day. She believes every moment is better with a little physical contact, a gentle head scratch, or a cozy belly rub. Add a tasty treat to the mix, and you have the recipe for one very happy pup!
Although she is a mature lady, Denim still has plenty of energy and enthusiasm. The moment she realizes it is time for a walk, her excitement shines through! Exploring the neighborhood, feeling the breeze, and spending time outdoors are among her greatest joys. She also loves sunbathing in the yard and can often be found soaking up warm rays like a professional relaxation expert!
Ideal Home
Denim thrives with structure, regular exercise, and positive reinforcement. She would do well in a home with older, respectful children and pet parents who can continue providing guidance, affection, and daily activities. Because of her history, Denim needs a home without cats or small dogs. She may be compatible with some larger dogs following slow introductions, careful management, and proper supervision.

Denim is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Denim is house-trained and crate-trained. She has completed formal training and proudly knows commands including sit, stay, wait, down, paw, and even twirl! She is highly food-motivated and enjoys dental chew toys that keep both her mind and smile busy. Car rides are another favorite adventure! Denim has a history of a serious incident involving a small dog that resulted in fatal injuries. Since then, she has participated in professional training and has successfully spent time around compatible dogs in structured environments. She has never shown aggression toward people and is known for being affectionate, social, and deeply bonded to her family.
