Meet Nala, a sweet, silly little shadow ready to fill your home with joy! Nala is a 20lb Chihuahua mix, with an estimated birthday of February 12, 2023. Her past was tough, having spent weeks on her own, but now she's safe in foster care and eager to find the forever family she deserves. Nala is a playful, affectionate, and wonderfully goofy girl who loves to entertain herself with her toys, even playing fetch by herself! She’s learning to be a confident pup and will blossom with patience and love.
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home that appreciates a fun, affectionate companion and is committed to helping her continue to build her confidence. While another dog would be a bonus, it's not a requirement.
Ongoing Health
Nala is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Nala is 95% potty trained and fully crate trained. She knows "sit" and "crate," and is working on "stay/wait." She walks well on a leash but is still learning to stay focused due to her excitement about the world around her. Nala can be a little shy initially, but with about 30 minutes to warm up, she becomes incredibly loyal and affectionate.

Transportation
Nala is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee, with ground transports operating weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track their dog's transport via the Life360 app and will receive updates. Please be prepared to utilize one of these tracking services if you wish to follow your adopted dog during transport. Pickup locations may vary and could be in nearby towns or states.
