Swazie

Swazie is a delightful 3-year-old mixed breed "low-rider" who weighs about 45 lbs. She's already spayed, vaccinated, and up-to-date on her shots. Swazie can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but a tasty treat will quickly win her over and earn you a best friend! She enjoys playing with dogs of similar size and energy levels and loves both playtime in the yard and a good nap. Just look at those adorable ears – she's as cute as can be and is patiently waiting for her chance to shine.

Ideal Home

Swazie would likely do well in a home with dogs of similar size and energy. We cannot evaluate her behavior with cats as we do not have them in our shelter.

Ongoing Health

Swazie is currently undergoing slow kill treatment for a positive heartworm test. The shelter will provide the necessary treatment once she is in your home.

Training & Support

Swazie can be a bit shy with new people, so continuing to build her confidence with positive reinforcement, like treats, will be key to her success.
