Fitz aka Fitzy

Fitzgerald, also known as Fitzy, Fitz, Lovebug, or The Fitzer, is a wonderful and affectionate 2-year-old male American Eskimo Dog who is ready to find his forever home! He's a devoted companion, often shadowing his foster mom and showering his people with cuddles. Fitzy is also a talented singer, and while he's still perfecting his opera-inspired barks and howls, his "tenor scales" are quite something! He enjoys playing with chew toys and is a great helper in the kitchen. Fitzy gets along well with other dogs and is not bonded to his brother, Finn, meaning he's ready for a fresh start.

Ideal Home

Fitzy would thrive in a home with older children who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. His compatibility with cats is unknown, so a home where he can be introduced carefully would be best.

Fitzy is neutered and vaccinated. No specific health conditions are noted at this time.

Training & Support

Fitzy is house-trained. He is learning to manage his vocalizations, but still enjoys expressing himself with barks and howls. Continued positive reinforcement and consistency will help him continue to grow.
