Katana is a fun, smart, and active young dog with an incredible set of ears! She's petite, peppy, and full of pizzazz, making her an enthusiastic and engaging sidekick for all sorts of adventures. Katana is a total blast in our play yards, enjoying zoomies and showing off her favorite toys with ecstatic wiggles. She would likely be thrilled to spend an afternoon playing fetch with a pal or stretching her legs on walks, jogs, or hikes.
Katana has a sharp mind and already knows "sit" and "down." She's working on "stay" and "come" and is attentive and motivated by toys and treats, making her a bright and quick student. She consistently keeps her kennel clean, so we believe she is housebroken. Katana has been sociable with other dogs her size and tends to be friendly in passing.
Ideal Home
Katana needs a home without smaller animals.
Ongoing Health
Katana is up-to-date on her DAPPL, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines. She is microchipped and includes a Cuyahoga County license. All dogs adopted from the kennel need to go to your personal vet within two weeks of leaving. Follow-up boosters may be required.
Training & Support
Katana knows "sit" and "down" and is working on "stay" and "come." She is toy and treat-motivated, making her an eager learner.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- All CITY DOGS posted for adoption are available directly from the kennel unless noted otherwise.
- You must schedule a meet with a dog in advance; walk-ins are not accepted.
- Please check our website to see if there are any dogs you think would be a good fit for your home before scheduling a meet.
- Once you submit a form through Wags, an adoption counselor will contact you to schedule and confirm your meet.
- At the kennel, an adoption counselor will introduce you to adoptable dogs, share information we know about them, and discuss suggested ways for successfully integrating a new dog into your home.
- You are welcome to meet multiple dogs.
- If the dog you adopt is already spayed/neutered, they may go home with you that day. Otherwise, they can go home after their surgery.
