Bubba

Bubba is a resilient and loving boy who survived a terrible ordeal. He was found with a severe open wound on his neck after his owners abandoned him and someone attempted to harm him. Thankfully, he pulled through and has undergone three neck surgeries and surgery on an affected eye. He also had a severe case of demodectic mange and was heartworm positive, but he has completed his heartworm treatment and his mange has cleared up. Bubba is approximately 6 years old, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He absolutely adores people and is eager to find a loving home where he can continue to heal and thrive.

Ideal Home

Bubba would do best in a home without other animals, as he can get a bit protective when surprised, possibly due to his past trauma and vision in his right eye.

Ongoing Health

Bubba has had multiple surgeries on his neck and eye, and has completed heartworm treatment. He is current on all medications.

Training & Support

Bubba may need a little extra patience and understanding as he adjusts to his new life. He can be protective when surprised, so a calm and predictable environment will be most beneficial for him.

Transporation

Bubba is located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Cane Haven Rescue will transport any of their adoptable dogs to the right home.
