Bailey Kay - Super Smart, Affectionate and Great with Dogs

Bailey Kay is a bright, affectionate 4–5-year-old girl who’s ready to find the loving home she deserves. She currently weighs around 50 pounds but is still a bit underweight and will thrive as she continues to gain healthy weight with regular meals and care. Bailey is great with other dogs, showcasing wonderful social manners by inviting play and respecting boundaries when others aren't interested. She's an active girl with a big zest for life, loving long walks and happiest with a yard to run in. Off-leash playtime and fetch are pure joy for her!

Bailey is exceptionally smart, already knowing "sit" and "come," and working on "stay." She's also making great progress with leash skills, doing well with a halter and improving quickly on a collar and leash. At home, Bailey is wonderfully affectionate and cuddly. While she has high energy outdoors, she happily settles down inside. She's extraordinarily loving and often places her paw on you, a sweet way of staying connected and reassured. Having spent time on the streets, she's still learning to feel safe and sometimes asks for extra attention. With a consistent routine and lots of love, she'll continue to blossom.

Ideal Home

Bailey seems to be great with people and has done well meeting new faces. She doesn’t enjoy being tightly held or restrained, so she’d do best in a home with older kids who can understand and respect her boundaries. She’ll also thrive in a home with a yard to run in.

Training & Support

Bailey knows "sit" and "come," and is working on "stay." She's improving quickly with leash walking skills. She is still learning that she's safe and may ask for extra attention as reassurance. With a consistent routine and lots of love, she'll continue to blossom.
