Moxie Foxie is a delightful 5-year-old Lab/Pittie mix who embodies pure joy! She's a goober with a heart full of sunshine, always ready for playtime, affection, and, of course, belly rubs. Moxie has a sweet and goofy personality that makes her instantly lovable. She has a flair for the dramatic when it comes to requesting belly rubs, flopping onto her back with all four paws in the air, tail wagging, and a hopeful look that's impossible to resist. She also adores her squeaky toys, proudly carrying them around and making them sing.
Moxie's true passion is other dogs! She's a social butterfly who blossoms around her canine companions, engaging in playful wrestling and demonstrating excellent doggy manners. She lives harmoniously with a small elderly dog and has shown great promise with other small dogs, though she is a playful pup so friends should be able to handle a bit of goofy energy. While she can be a solo dog, she truly shines with a playful dog buddy. Moxie also lives with a toddler and a baby and is wonderful with them, fitting right into family life. She's smart, leash-trained, crate-trained, treat-motivated, and knows commands like "sit" and "down." A yard for zooming and playing would be ideal for her.
Ideal Home
Moxie would thrive in a home with a yard where she can play and zoom. She would love to have another playful dog companion. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Moxie has skin allergies that require a limited ingredient diet and regular veterinary care to keep her comfortable and healthy.
Training & Support
Moxie is smart, leash-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands. She is a quick learner and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement.

Transporation
Moxie is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
