Bowie

Meet Bowie, our blue-eyed heartthrob with a one-of-a-kind look and a whole lot of love to give! This 5-year-old, approximately 45 lb pit bull mix is a real head-turner with his striking eyes and unique appearance (he does kind of look like a hyena from The Lion King, and he totally owns it!). Bowie is a loyal, affectionate velcro dog who wants to be wherever you are. He thrives on attention, loves laying in the sun, and will happily curl up by your side for a nap.

Ideal Home

Bowie would do best in a home with an experienced dog owner who understands resource guarding. He needs a home without young children. He would be happy as your one-and-only companion or with a calm, neutral female dog after proper introductions.

Ongoing Health

Bowie is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Due to some resource guarding, Bowie will need an owner familiar with this behavior and prepared to manage it.
