Truffle is a wickedly smart and eager-to-learn girl who seems to understand everything you say. She arrived as a stray but it's obvious she was once someone's beloved companion. She appears to be potty-trained and already knows an impressive list of commands, including sit, down, shake, come, stay, and speak. She's currently learning new tricks like crawling and jumping over agility equipment. Truffle's most charming quirk is her adorable "smile," a toothy grin she flashes when she's especially happy to see her favorite people. She enjoys the company of other dogs, preferring calm, mature companions who share her laid-back outlook.

Ideal Home

Truffle forms deep bonds with her people and prefers not to be left alone for long periods. She has mild separation anxiety and would thrive with an adopter who is home often and committed to helping her build confidence and security. She would prefer canine friends who are not overly pushy, rowdy, or constantly jumping on her.
