Meet Shadow!

Shadow is the definition of a sweetheart. Gentle, affectionate, and full of love, she's happiest when she's close to her people. If you're looking for a world-class cuddle buddy, Shadow is more than happy to volunteer-she absolutely loves hugs and will gladly curl up beside you for an evening of snuggles.

While Shadow can be a little shy when meeting larger dogs, she has done wonderfully with dogs her own size and smaller in a daycare setting. She has also been fantastic with her foster family's cat, showing a calm, respectful nature around feline friends.

Shadow is crate trained, though she also does very well when left home alone. She's settling nicely into home life and enjoys simply being part of the family. On walks, Shadow can become a little overexcited when she spots other dogs and is still learning that she doesn't need to say hello to everyone she sees. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she's already making progress and continues to improve her leash manners every day.

Shadow would thrive with someone who enjoys spending time together, understands that every dog has little things they're working on, and is excited to continue building her confidence. In return, you'll get a loyal companion with a heart of gold and more love to give than you could ever imagine.
