Baxter

Baxter recently arrived at CTDR along with his best friend, Juliette, after their owner became ill and could no longer care for them. Wanting to ensure her beloved dogs would be safe and loved, she reached out to CTDR for help. Baxter and Juliette are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. They enjoy the company of children, other dogs, and cats, and their favorite pastime is simply being with their people and soaking up all the pets they can get. Baxter is blind and relies on Juliette as his trusted guide. He does best when his environment stays consistent, as he carefully learns his surroundings and navigates by memory. With a patient and understanding family, Baxter does wonderfully and feels secure.

Ideal Home

Baxter and Juliette must be adopted together. They enjoy the company of children, other dogs, and cats. Baxter thrives in a consistent environment where he can learn his surroundings.

Ongoing Health

Baxter is blind and relies on Juliette as his guide. Both Baxter and Juliette have completed their basic vetting, and we anticipate that each will need a dental prior to adoption. Heartworm Prevention is given on the 8th of each month.

Training & Support

Baxter navigates by memory and thrives in a consistent environment. Patience and understanding will help Baxter feel secure.
