Dr. Pepper is a sweet, sensitive soul who is still learning to trust the world around him. When he first arrived, he was understandably fearful, flinching at movement and doing his best to disappear. But with patience and gentle affection, he's blossoming! He now leans into pets, happily follows his favorite people around, and can even drift off to sleep while being softly petted.

Dr. Pepper needs a quiet, low-traffic home where life is predictable and calm. He thrives on routine and needs a patient adopter who understands he's still building confidence. A fenced yard is important for his security, and he would benefit from a home where someone is around often to provide him with consistent companionship.
