Meet Lucy, a delightful approximately 1-3 year old pup weighing in at just 23 pounds! Lucy is a true gem, a perfect little companion with floppy ears, soulful eyes, and the gentlest heart. She's already shown incredible bravery, having come into rescue with a severe ear infection that left her with a head tilt. Despite her past challenges, Lucy remains loving, trusting, and wonderfully sweet. She's the type of dog who quietly wins your heart, needing little more than a soft place to rest, kind hands, and a family who recognizes her special spirit. Her expression is one of pure hope, always seeking that forever reassurance of safety and love. Imagine her curled up beside you, a constant shadow with those captivating eyes, or gently resting her head on your lap after a long day. Ongoing Health

Lucy is currently heartworm positive, but she is already undergoing treatment. Her heartworm treatment will be fully covered by Wilder Souls Rescue through an approved veterinarian, so there will be no cost to her adopter for this care. She will need a quiet and restful environment to aid in her recovery. All dogs with Wilder Souls Rescue receive thorough veterinary care before adoption, including a full health exam, deworming, core vaccines, microchipping, and monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
