Gustav is a playful and polished 3½-year-old terrier/Lab mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun! He’s very dog-friendly and thrives in playgroups, where he loves to romp around with his canine pals. His favorite game is pretending to play fetch—he’s all about the chase, even if the “bringing the ball back” part still hasn’t clicked. Gustav is a goofy, chunky boy who adores snacks. Interactive toys are his jam… at least until he gets too hangry—then all brain power disappears, and he’ll let you know with dramatic whining and cries of disapproval.
Ideal Home
A home where Gustav can continue to enjoy playgroups and interactive toys. Be prepared for dramatic displays when snacks are not readily available!
Ongoing Health
Gustav is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, and has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and is on flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Gustav loves to play fetch but is still working on the "bringing it back" part. He can become easily hangry, so keeping him well-snacked and engaged with interactive toys will be key to his happiness. Continued training and understanding will help him be his best self.

- For those being picked up at our Angleton, Tx location, the adoption fee of $75 includes all vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Transporation
Gustav is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH. Transportation is available to predetermined locations and times. The adoption and transportation fee ranges from $100-500. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request with the adopting family responsible for the additional cost. Our transport vehicles are equipped with air conditioning for comfort, and onboard attendants provide 24-hour care. You can follow your pet's journey through a private Facebook Event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest transport pick-up location.
