Ella

Ella is a spirited and incredibly loving 10-month-old, 8lb bundle of joy! She was found tied up outside her home, likely because her high energy was too much for her previous owners. Despite her rough start, Ella is ready to shower her forever family with affection and fun!

Ideal Home

Ella is a high-energy pup who needs a home with plenty of time, energy, and patience for consistent training. A set schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and exercise is crucial for her success. Those with very busy lives or families with demanding schedules need not apply. Apartment living may not be ideal due to her separation anxiety, which can lead to barking and crying, and potential challenges with house training if she can't be taken out quickly enough. Ella is also an escape artist and can easily climb over x-pens or patio railings, so a secure yard is a must. While she loves to play with other dogs, some may find her playfulness overwhelming, so a confident, playful canine companion would be ideal. Because of her small size, off-leash dog parks are not recommended; controlled playdates are the way to go.

Ongoing Health

Ella is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, tattooed, and microchipped. She has also had two retained baby teeth removed.

Training & Support

Ella is still working on mastering her house training and requires a dedicated and patient human to help her succeed. She is smart but can get overly excited when meeting people, so she needs help focusing. Her separation anxiety will require ongoing support and management.

Ella is located in the Lower Mainland and adoptions within this area will be considered first. Transport may be available within the Lower Mainland.
