Thunder The Zesty Bestie

This bundle of joy is Thunder! At 10 months old and around 40 pounds, he's a delightful mix that we suspect might include Pit Bull or Labrador Retriever, though in rescue, we celebrate the delightful mystery! Thunder is an incredibly sweet, curious, and cuddly pup with a zest for life. He's a social butterfly who adores everyone he meets and truly thrives on companionship. He's a pro at fetch and equally skilled at snuggling up for some quality cuddle time. Thunder shares his foster home with three cats and gets along wonderfully with them. He's already mastered 'sit' and 'wait,' is crate trained, and potty trained, making him an absolute dream to have around! He'd be thrilled to find a home with outdoor space where he can play, explore, and bask in his favorite sunbathing spots.

Training & Support

Thunder is already crate trained and potty trained and knows 'sit' and 'wait.' As he is still young, he will benefit from continued training, socialization, and a family committed to providing the routine, structure, boundaries, and positive social experiences needed to help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. We require continued crate training upon arrival home to support his journey.

Thunder is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
