Millie

Millie is an amazing German Shepherd and Australian Shepherd mix, born on April 12, 2022. She was brought to us when her previous family could no longer care for her due to her father's failing health. Millie was showing guarding behaviors towards the male owner, and her family was unsure how to proceed.

She is a very smart dog who loves to train and would thrive in a home that embraces positive reinforcement methods. Millie is currently living with two dog trainers who have learned a great deal about her and have helped her learn a lot too.

Ideal Home

Millie would love a home where she can be the sole focus of attention, with no other animals or children. She would particularly bond well with a man as her primary person, someone who is looking for a devoted canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Millie is up-to-date on her vaccinations, has had a heartworm test, is microchipped, and is on monthly preventatives. She has also been spayed.

Training & Support

Millie is not fully leash-trained but is easy to walk. While she is not destructive when left alone and is house-trained, she can be picky about her food, preferring wet food and freeze-dried kibble. She loves men and is still good with women, but her preference is clear.
