Jolene

We'd like you to meet Jolene! This sweet 3-year-old, 20-pound mixed breed boasts a beautiful, rich black coat and legs of just the right length. Jolene has had a tough time since arriving, and we don't know what she's been through, but we do know she deserves a fresh start. She's made incredible progress with us, and with the right person, she'll continue to blossom.

Ideal Home

Jolene would be the happiest in a home with at least one other dog to be her friend. She gets along wonderfully with all the dogs in her foster home, from tiny tots to bigger pups! Because Jolene takes time to warm up to new people, an adult-only home is required. She also needs a securely fenced yard to enjoy her love of the outdoors. Jolene does not like crates and should never be confined to enclosed spaces.

Training & Support

Jolene is very food-motivated, making her eager to learn with the help of tasty treats. She is potty trained and has learned to bark when she needs to go outside. With consistent training and patience, you'll help Jolene gain confidence and come out of her shell. We're happy to offer training advice to help you and Jolene succeed together.
