Solstice

Solstice is a sweet girl who is still learning to trust. She came to us with 8 puppies and was heartworm positive. She's on the road to recovery and her puppies have found homes, so now it's her turn! Solstice is quiet and a little shy with new people, but she is eager to be friends with everyone she meets. She also gets along well with most dogs. Cats make her nervous, so we're looking for a home without feline friends. A gentle hand and some patience will help Solstice bloom into the amazing dog she is. A quieter home with a predictable routine would be ideal, but she enjoys a bit of playful fun once she's comfortable. She even enjoys car rides, though she gets a little nervous at first! We know shy dogs aren't for everyone, but we're confident the perfect family is out there for this sweet young lady.

Ideal Home

A gentle hand and some solid patience will allow Solstice to bloom into the amazing dog she truly is. A quieter home with a steady schedule would be best for her, but she's not above a bit of boisterous play once she is comfortable. We would prefer a home for her without feline companionship.

Solstice was heartworm positive and is on the road to recovery.

Training & Support

Solstice is shy with new people but shows strong eagerness to be friends with every human she meets. A gentle hand and patience will help her build confidence.
