06/18/26 10:27 Reason animal needs rescue: Presented with large wound over flank with multiple draining tracts. Wound probed and explored during OVH surgery, no foreign body found. Has been on antibiotic treatment and moderate improvement noted but still has small singular draining lesion. Shelter unable to provide additional diagnostics needed (advanced imaging) to determine underlying cause. She also has a history of possible resource guarding and has demonstrated handling sensitivity making medical treatment difficult and repeated sedation for more invasive handling.
