Micaela

Micaela is a sweet, approximately 2-year-old husky who has overcome a great deal of hardship. She arrived at the shelter in pain with a fractured jaw, significant misalignment, and bleeding gums. Despite her suffering, she remained brave and gentle. Hoardin' Huskies stepped in to provide her with much-needed medical care, including a full dental cleaning and removal of damaged teeth. She is also undergoing slow-kill treatment for heartworm, which she is tolerating well. Even with all she's been through, Micaela is showing her resilient spirit, leaning into gentle touch and watching her caregivers with grateful eyes. She is now ready to find a loving forever home where she will be cherished and safe.

Ongoing Health

Micaela is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment. She has also had a full dental cleaning and removal of damaged teeth due to old jaw fractures.

Training & Support

Micaela is learning to trust and feel safe. She responds well to gentle touch and reassurance.
