Drake

Drake is a sweet, 7-year-old Shih Tzu mix boy who came to us from some pretty rough conditions. He has some vision impairment, but he does amazingly well once he adjusts to his new environment. He's quiet, not a barker, and very laid back. He is potty trained and gets along with other dogs, but he is timid with assertive dogs, so he would be best off as the only dog or with a similarly mellow canine companion. Drake weighs about 16 lbs. He will take some time to open up, and initially, he will be timid. He needs somebody patient and kind. Drake is a coated dog, meaning his hair grows continuously, and he will require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks.

Ideal Home

A patient and kind home where Drake can take his time to open up. He would do best as the only dog or with a dog of a similar, mellow personality.

Drake has some vision impairment.

Drake is potty trained. He needs a patient and kind owner to help him feel comfortable and safe.
