Meet Chai, a charming 3-year-old, 53lb Catahoula mix who is as sweet and affectionate as they come! This handsome boy truly loves being close to his people and feels happiest when he can see what his humans are up to. He's already crate and potty trained, and is a very eager-to-please pup. Chai is a smart cookie, knowing commands like "sit," "down," and even an adorable "play dead" trick! He'll also spin in a circle on a hand signal and enjoys showing off his skills, especially when a tasty treat is involved. Chai gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and would love a canine companion who enjoys romping and playing. He also adores children, though he hasn't been tested with cats. Chai is currently learning to walk on the leash without pulling and is making great progress. With consistent positive reinforcement and plenty of treats, he'll be a leash-walking champ in no time! Chai loves kids and other dogs, and would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people and play with a doggy friend. He has not been tested with cats.
