Meet Tony, a goofy, affectionate, high-energy shepherd mix with a HUGE personality and an even bigger heart. He’s incredibly people-oriented, loves being part of the action, and is happiest when he has structure, enrichment, and someone to bond with. Tony is potty trained, knows commands like sit, down, and off, and loves puzzle toys and sniff games. He is extremely smart and highly trainable, thriving when given consistency and guidance. Tony absolutely loves playtime and would do best with an active adopter who understands working/shepherd-type dogs and enjoys continuing training and enrichment with him. He recently had successful playdates with another large shepherd and showed how social, playful, and joyful he can be with the right dog match. Tony can get overstimulated in busy environments, so he’ll do best with someone experienced, patient, and willing to continue helping him build regulation and confidence. He’s not a “sit on the couch all day” kind of dog — he’s a dog that wants to engage with life alongside you. One of Tony’s favorite things is being close to his people. Underneath all the goofy energy is a dog that genuinely wants connection, safety, and a place to belong.
