Cowboy

Cowboy is a resilient 2-year-old who has overcome immense hardship. He was found abandoned and severely injured, having been used as a bait dog. Despite his traumatic past, Cowboy is a survivor and is now safe, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and receiving medical care. He is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, but is on the path to recovery. Cowboy can be cautious around other dogs and may do best as the only pet in the home. He also takes some time to warm up to men. He is looking for a safe and loving home where he can finally feel secure.
