Polo

Polo is an approximately 11-month-old, 60-pound grey and white brindle mix. His DNA shows he's a unique blend of Great Pyrenees, Treeing Walker Coonhound, and American Pitbull Terrier. Polo is a sweet, calm boy who also enjoys playtime. He's had a bit of a rough start to life, born in the forest and surviving in a large pack. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now ready to find his forever family. He was initially undersocialized and fearful of new people, but with kindness and patience, he has learned to approach gently and lovingly. It's been a joy to see his trusting nature and personality blossom!

Ideal Home

Polo enjoys naps on the couch and walks around town. He would likely thrive in a home that can provide him with gentle guidance and opportunities to continue building his confidence.

Ongoing Health

Polo recently underwent FHO surgery on his left hip due to a previous issue. The surgery was performed on May 1st, and he has recovered beautifully with no complications. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on prevention.

Training & Support

Polo has shown great progress and is a quick learner. He is house-trained, crate-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and travels well in the car. He has been non-reactive to cats and has interacted well with other dogs.
