Hi there, I'm Otis, a 6-year-old hound mix, and I found my way here as a stray... but I like to think I was just following a trail that leads me closer to my forever home. 💛

If I had to describe myself, I'd say I'm the soft, gentle kind of sweet--like a quiet spring morning or finding that one perfect Easter egg you didn't expect. I love being near my people, leaning in for affection, and just sharing calm, comforting moments together. 🐾🌼

The shelter is still learning about how I do with cats, dogs, and children, but they offer a trial adoption so we can make sure I'm the perfect fit for your home. I think that's pretty special... it means we get to choose each other. 🥚✨

I'm up-to-date on all my shots and heartworm negative, so I'm healthy and ready to start this next chapter. All I'm missing is someone to share it with.

Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
