Mickey

Mickey is a 1.5-year-old, male, high-energy dog with a playful, goofy, and affectionate temperament. He's been in rescue since he was a puppy and absolutely thrives with lots of activity. Mickey loves long walks, exploring nature, playing fetch, and walks well on a leash. He's a big cuddle bug who enjoys napping and is also kennel and house trained. He's a big fan of chew bones and treats and is looking for an active home to call his own.

Ideal Home

Mickey would do best in an active home that can provide him with regular exercise. Due to his size and exuberance, he is best suited for families with dog-savvy or older children, as he could accidentally knock down smaller kids. He also requires slow introductions when meeting new people and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Mickey is fixed, microchipped, has started age-appropriate vaccines, is dewormed, and is on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Mickey is house trained and crate trained. He enjoys chew bones and treats, which can be used to reinforce positive behaviors.
