Lucy June Scout is a delightful puppy who is just over two months old. She has a wonderful blend of adventurous spirit and a sweet, easygoing nature, making her a truly special companion. Lucy is curious and affectionate, confidently meeting new people and animals, approaching the world with bright eyes and a calm demeanor. She appears to be a Labrador Retriever and Carolina Dog mix, though her breed and age are educated guesses. Her foster home is dedicated to helping her grow into a well-rounded adult.
Lucy is living with other dogs and has been socialized with new people, animals, and various experiences. She's a quick learner, attentive, and enjoys participating in new activities. Lucy has already proven herself to be an excellent travel companion, happily settling in for long drives and adapting well to life on the road.

Lucy would thrive in a home that's ready for the joys and occasional puppy antics that come with raising a young dog. She's looking for a family who appreciates her curiosity and confidence and can offer her a loving environment.
Ongoing Health
Lucy is a young puppy and will continue to grow and develop. She is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccines with a booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She will also receive a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has also been spayed.
Training & Support
Lucy is making excellent progress with her training. She is successfully using potty pads and is learning to do her business outside on the grass. She will continue to learn house manners and leash skills, and she is eager to learn alongside her people.

Transportation
Lucy is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport has an additional $87 surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
