opie

Opie is a sweet, resilient Husky mix who was found at Animal Control in rough condition. He arrived severely matted and neglected, requiring some areas to be shaved for his comfort and health. Opie is also Heartworm Positive and is currently undergoing treatment in partnership with our veterinarian to ensure he has the best road to recovery. Despite his past hardships, Opie is showing his true colors: a loving and spirited companion. With time and care, he's ready to shine and become the beautiful Husky he was always meant to be.

Ideal Home

Opie would do well in a home that can provide him with the ongoing care and attention he needs to fully recover.

Ongoing Health

Opie is Heartworm Positive and is currently undergoing treatment. He has also had some areas of his coat shaved due to matting, but with proper grooming, his coat will grow back.

Training & Support

Opie has shown himself to be house-trained.
