Shadow

Shadow is a handsome Shepherd mix, approximately 5 years young, who is bursting with energy and a love for all things active! He's a champion ball player and could happily fetch for hours on end. His previous family invested a tremendous amount of time and effort into his training, and it truly shines through. Shadow is a smart boy who thrives on routine and consistent guidance.

Ideal Home

Shadow would be happiest in an all-adult home, free from children. He gets along well with other dogs and would do best with just one canine companion or as the sole dog, as he enjoys being the center of attention. While he's well-behaved and greets people politely in public, Shadow is reactive to visitors in his home and is protective of his space. He must be safely kenneled when guests are over.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and is currently on a monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. He is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Shadow is a well-trained dog, but he does require a dog-savvy owner who can understand canine body language and provide consistent, high-energy exercise. This active breed thrives on activity, so a commitment to running, ball throwing, and other vigorous activities is essential for his well-being. He would love a running or hiking partner!
