Meet Roo!

Roo is an intelligent and spirited cattle dog mix who is eager to be involved in everything you do. She's always ready for the next adventure and is incredibly loyal. As of July 10th, Roo is estimated to be 4 months old and weighs 19lbs.

Ideal Home

Roo thrives in an active home with an experienced cattle dog owner who understands the physical and mental exercise this breed requires. She needs a fenced yard and is not suited for apartment living. A playful, energetic canine companion would be a huge bonus for her, as she loves to have a friend to match her energy.

Ongoing Health

Roo is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she isn't a fan of going into her crate, she settles quickly and does well once inside. She is not destructive, especially when her mind and body are kept busy.

Training & Support

Roo is not a good fit for first-time dog owners. She requires ongoing training and enrichment to help her reach her full potential.

Roo is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. She is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her adoption fee includes transport, and there is a good chance we have a transport stop near you.
