Dex is a 6-year-old German Shepherd mix with a loyal heart and a seriously smart brain. He knows commands in both English and Spanish, learns quickly, and seems to enjoy having a job to do. Classic Shepherd! Give him a little structure and he’ll happily show you he’s been paying attention. Dex can be affectionate with the people he trusts, but he also has that Shepherd independence where he likes to keep an eye on the world. He has lived with another dog before and has positive history with kids, though a home with older teens, around 16 and up, would be the best fit. He is looking for a calmer home where slow introductions, positive training, and a steady routine can help him feel safe.
