Hi there! My name is Caramel, though some of my favorite people call me Caramella. I'm a sweet, playful, and cuddly Labrador Retriever mix with an estimated birthday of April 8, 2026. I currently weigh 11.9 lbs as of June 3, 2026.
I might be a little shy when we first meet, as new things can be a bit daunting for me. But with a little patience, a few kind words, and some gentle scratches, my true, adorable personality will shine through! Once I know you're my friend, I absolutely adore attention – belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles, and compliments are my favorite. I have so much love to give and can't wait to share it with my forever family. My days are filled with fun: carrying toys, wrestling with my brother, exploring, and then taking well-deserved naps. I'm also a smart cookie and am doing great with crate training, often heading in on my own. I'm learning my potty manners and am getting good at using my puppy pads. More than anything, I'm looking for a family who will help me build my confidence and show me all the wonderful things life has to offer. In return, I promise to fill your days with puppy kisses, happy tail wags, and endless love.

Transportation
Caramel is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may vary in pickup locations, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
