Meet Jack Jack! If you're looking for a fun-loving companion with a heart of gold, Jack Jack may be your perfect match! This handsome 1-year-old Black & Tan Coonhound is a medium-sized sweetheart who brings the perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate charm. Jack Jack is house trained, knows some basic commands, and is a smart boy who enjoys learning new things. He's dog-friendly and absolutely loves playing and romping around with canine friends. He'd be thrilled to have another playful dog in his forever home. He's also wonderful with kids--gentle, sweet, and always happy to soak up attention and affection from his people! Like many hounds, Jack Jack is driven by his nose and enjoys following interesting scents. He has decent leash manners, but his hound instincts can sometimes lead the way on walks. When he's not busy exploring, Jack Jack enjoys playing fetch, running around in a securely fenced yard, and rolling over for belly rubs. He has a medium energy level and is happy to balance playtime with plenty of cuddles. Jack Jack is a loving, loyal young hound looking for a family that will embrace his playful spirit, appreciate his goofy personality, and give him the companionship he craves. In return, he'll reward you with endless love, laughter, and plenty of happy hound adventures.
Ideal Home
Jack Jack would love a home with another playful dog to share his adventures. Due to his vocal nature, he needs a home without shared walls, so apartments, condos, or townhomes are not a good fit.
Ongoing Health
Jack Jack is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Jack Jack is currently working on crate training and can experience some separation anxiety when left alone, so he'll do best with a patient family willing to continue building his confidence and routine. He also has a classic hound howl that makes him extra charming.
