Meet Sampson! This handsome 2-year-old, 90-pound Akita mix with a touch of Shepherd was found abandoned but is now ready to bring calm and peace into your life. Sampson has a gentle presence that makes everyone feel safe and at ease. He loves his walks, soaking in all the sights and smells of the world, and is a big fan of quiet companionship and ear scratches. Good news for those who find bath time a struggle – Sampson doesn't mind water and is surprisingly easy to bathe! While he's a large dog, he's content with a couple of good walks a day and doesn't require endless exercise.

Ideal Home

Sampson would thrive in a home without cats or small animals due to his prey drive. He's generally indifferent to other dogs, but some can spark his interest, so he would be happiest as the only dog in the household.
