Hershey was found wandering the streets of Houston until she was rescued and placed in a loving foster home. Since then, she has blossomed into a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing companion who is ready for her forever home. She's a low-rider cuddle bug who adores her people and is happiest when curled up next to you on the couch or following you from room to room. Hershey bonds deeply with her humans and thrives in a home where she can be part of the family's daily life. She is fully housebroken and does well in her crate. Hershey is great on a leash, walks calmly, and loves exploring the neighborhood. While she may be short, she carries herself with confidence and will let you know if someone's at the door with her charming little bark. She's playful, curious, and loves a good case of the zoomies, especially in a yard where she can run off some energy. While generally mellow indoors, she enjoys regular walks, sniff sessions, and time outside.

Loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms can spook her, so a calm, secure environment during those moments is important. Because of this, she would do best either as the only pet or with a calm, tolerant dog who won't mind her enthusiastic approach.
