Brownie

Brownie is a 2-year-old, 20-lb Miniature Poodle looking for his forever home. He was rescued from a shelter in Yonkers, NY, and is now thriving in a foster home in Ansonia, CT. Brownie is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and in excellent health. He's a smart, loyal boy who forms deep bonds with his people. While he can be a bit mouthy when overstimulated, he responds wonderfully to structure, consistency, and clear boundaries. With patience, Brownie will shower you with devotion, companionship, and his sweet, sensitive poodle nature. Once he feels safe, he loves pets, holding hands, and snuggling up next to you. He's a true velcro poodle who enjoys toys, chew bones, walks, car rides, and sleeping in bed with his favorite human. He is well-behaved at home, housebroken, and doesn't need to be crated when left alone.

Ideal Home

Brownie would do best in a calm, adult-only home. If there's a canine sibling, they should also be calm and not overly boisterous.

Brownie is healthy, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Brownie can be mouthy when overstimulated or excited, but he is making steady progress with structure, consistency, and clear boundaries. He needs a patient family to help him build trust and learn to feel secure.
