About Indiana Jones

Indiana Jones is a spirited adolescent boy looking for an experienced and active adopter to join him on his next great adventure! He exhibits classic herding behaviors, like nipping and herding children, which we've successfully redirected to fun activities like playing with a herding ball. While he's shown he can get along with other dogs in the past, he hasn't been as welcoming to canine companions here at the shelter, so we believe he'd do best as the only pet in his new home. He has no experience with cats, but given his strong herding instincts, a feline-free environment would be ideal. Indiana is a bit of a homebody when it comes to travel, as car rides tend to upset his stomach. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, his warm and loving personality shines through! He's got plenty of energy to spare and would thrive with an adopter who can provide lots of outlets for his active lifestyle and continue his positive reinforcement training. He's already a champ at leash walking and is eager to learn, making him a fantastic candidate for learning new skills and playing fun games together!

Ideal Home

An experienced and active adopter who can provide plenty of outlets for his high energy and continue his positive reinforcement training. A home without cats or other pets would be ideal. He would also do best in a home that doesn't require frequent travel.
