Patty

Hi there! I'm Patty, a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy with a heart-shaped nose and a short little tail. While I may be a little shy and timid when we first meet, I warm up quickly and am eager to explore the world with you. My foster mom loves my personality, even though I'm missing part of my tail – it doesn't slow me down one bit! I'm originally from Texas, so I especially love snuggling up in a warm blanket, especially now that it's chilly up north. I'm a quiet sleeper in my kennel at night and I'm doing really well with potty training, especially with frequent potty breaks. I'm working on being polite and learning to walk nicely on a leash, and I'm very motivated by treats! I love playing with my toys, especially chew toys. While I enjoy a good game of fetch with my foster mom, I'm still learning that jumping up to greet people isn't the most polite way to say hello, but I promise I'll get the hang of it with some guidance. I love people of all ages and have been great with children. I'm a little nervous around cats, but I think we could be friends with a little time and patience. I also enjoy playing with bigger dogs and learn from their cues. I'm looking for someone who can see past my shyness and recognize the amazing pup I am.

Ideal Home

Someone who will continue to teach me manners, take me on walks, and cuddle with me. I love everyone, including people of all ages, and have gotten along with other dogs. I am a little shy around cats, but with time and patience, I believe we can become friends.

I am working on potty training and leash walking. I am still learning not to jump up when greeting people. I am motivated by treats and eager to learn.
