Introducing Rio!

At just 1 year old, Rio is a charming 19lbs Chihuahua & Dachshund mix with lots of love to give. This little guy may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and affection, and you’ll see his loyal personality shine through. He enjoys cozying up in blankets and is always eager for some loving attention.

Ideal Home

Rio would thrive in a calm home where he can feel safe and secure. He would do best without young children. A fenced-in yard is ideal for him to safely practice his leash-walking skills.

Ongoing Health

No specific health concerns are noted at this time.

Training & Support

Rio is potty trained and crate trained. He is still learning leash manners, and will benefit from a patient adopter to help him build confidence and practice his walking skills.
